So it's the end of my first year at Ringling and I think things went pretty well. I don't really have too much to say about the year really. I think I improved a lot this year and finally started to do as opposed to just thinking about doing which I've done for a long time now. I'm looking forward to working this summer to really get better at drawing and to really start studying film and story. I feel like I finally started to get to do what I'm really meant to do this year and I"m looking forward to doing more of it next year. This is my final animation project which was using our character in a scene where the character had to jump and show two emotions. In my scene, my character, Ned, is chasing after a butterfly, trying to catch it. He finally does but crushes it in the process and feels bad until he sees another and gets distracted, chasing that one instead. Also, included is a bunch of my figure drawings which basically amounts to my end of the year portfolio. Thats all for now. Hopefully I'll have some more frequent updates with sketches and other work throughout the summer as I try to keep myself busy.
Sorry its kinda light. The quality of the cameras it was shot with wasn't the greatest in the world.
I'm a recent Ringling College of Art and Design graduate. I spend my afternoons growing my beard out. I like story. Profile picture courtesy of the great Stevie Lewis.
